Abstract :
Introduction: Postpartum hemorrhage is the most life threatening complication during pregnancy and atonic postpartum hemorrhage being the commomest one. A case report 22 year old primigravida female came to obstetric casualty. A caesarean section performed for obstructed labour was complicated by uterine atony. A B-lynch uterine compression suture technique was used refractory to uterotonics. Aims & objectives: To preserves the uterus by B-lynch procedure technique in patient of primary postpartum hemorrhage after caesarean section. Material & method: Study design- Hospital case study Study place- Dept of Obgy, Kmch, katihar Result: Application of B-lynch suture has a high success rate has emerged as a lifesaving measure in uncontrolled atomic postpartum hemorrhage. Conclusion: The B-lynch suture is an alternative surgical procedure for uterine preservation.
