INTRODUCTION: -Violence against women in any form - physical or sexual is a heinous crime. Gynecologists are almost first stakeholders in interaction with the survivors including minors. This study highlights the role of ONE STOP CENTER in a tertiary care set up. AIMS AND OBJECTIVES: - To evaluate the various spectrum and magnitude of problems in females approaching ?One Stop Center? as medico legal cases in a Tertiary Care Center. MATERIAL AND METHODS: - This study was a retrospective observational study conducted at Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Dr. RML Hospital from 1st October 2021 to 30th October 2024. The study population included all female survivors / cases whose MLC was made at ONE STOP CENTER who reported with physical or sexual violence or other complaints and underwent examination and forensic evidence collection. A total of 807 medico legal cases were identified during this period. The details of the data were taken from The Medico Legal Register recorded by trained gynecologists at One Stop Centre. RESULT: - A total of 807 medico legal cases were studied. Amongst all cases, sexual violence was the most common type of violence in 33.2% cases. Nearly 10 % cases were under 18 years out of 807. 5.7 % cases were admitted either for treatment or MTP. Significant number of cases were from outside Delhi. CONCLUSION: - Amongst the cases reporting at one Stop Center, Sexual violence is the most prevalent type of assault against women irrespective of any age group. Significant number of cases of violence are reported in minors too. Our Centre received cases from outside Delhi emphasized the need to have functional ONE STOP Centre around DELHI also. Initial treatment was given in significant cases and medico legal paperwork and SAFE KIT examination for collection of evidence was done at One STOP CENTER with privacy. Confidentiality was maintained during record keeping.
