Abstract :
Introduction : Angiomyofibroblastoma (AMF) is a benign soft tissue tumor and a form of genital stromal mesenchymal tumor that primarily affects the vulva. It frequently appears benign, painless enlargement and can affect the fallopian tube, ischiorectal fossa, cervix, and bladder. Aims and Objectives : Any swelling of the genital region should be thoroughly evaluated by proper history taking, complete gynaecological examination, with the help of ultrasound and HPE investigations helps in early diagnosis of the case and prompt treatment of patient at earliest without much morbidity. Material & Methods : We report a 42-year-old woman complaining of painful swelling on her right labial vulva for the last 4 months. The pain was insidious in onset, progressive, and associated with itching over the surface. Local examination showed a soft tender cystic mass measuring 3 x 4 cm with a?regular border, smooth surface with excoriation of skin over swelling when touched. The first clinical impression was a labial cyst and/or a Bartholin cyst. After obtaining informed consent, the cystic mass was excised under the?sub-arachnoid block. Histopathology was suggestive of benign stromal tumor ? deep angiomyxofibroma ? lesion over the?right labial region. Results : Histo Morphological Features are suggestive of Benign Genital Stromal Tumor - Deep AngioMyxoFibroma of Right Labial Region. Conclusion : Angiomyxofibroma is generally observed among 3rd to 5th decade of life. The tumor is generally painless which was otherwise painful in our case report. The absence of invasive features with a prominent vascular component are suggestive of AMF.
