Abstract :
Introduction :
The blastocyst normally implants in the endometrial lining of the uterine cavity; Implantation anywhere else is defined as an Ectopic pregnancy.
Ectopic pregnancy can be treated medically and surgically; But diagnosing the ectopic is the key role to initiate the treatment .
Aims and objectives :
- To diagnose a case of ectopic pregnancy.
- ?To study the different modes of treatment in this case.
- ?To prevent the maternal mortality.
Methodology:
Studying a case of a 32 yrs old female patient previous caesarean delivery.
Discussion :
A majority of ovarian ectopic pregnancies are diagnosed by the 7th week of pregnancy when the patient becomes symptomatic, and ultrasound can be used to diagnose this condition.
Timely diagnosis and treatment prevents and reduces maternal mortality and morbidity.
