OVARIAN MASSES; A CASE SERIES Ovarian cancer is the 3rd most common cancer in Indian women, accounting for 3% of all malignancies and 6% of deaths from cancer. This is a case series of 4 cases. Case 1 - 44 year, P2L2 with pain in abdomen,CA19.9- 12118.69, CA125- 5796.1, with CECT s/o 10 x 12 cm left ovarian mass & 6 x 4 cm right adnexal cyst with moderate ascites with minimal pleural effusion Case 2 54 year old with a ?ovarian mucinous cystadeno-fibroma of 30 x 25 x 10 cm Case 3 35 years P1L2MTP1 with abdominal distension, weight loss & loss of appetite, with an ultrasound showing multi loculated solid-cystic lesion measuring 7.9x5.5 cm in right ovary, with ascites. CA-12549U/ML Case 4 52 yr, nulligravida previously operated for granulosa cell tumour with abdominal pain and distention & PET report of- 22?13?24 CM solid cystic mass from rt adnexa. Discussion-ovarian cancer has nonspecific symptoms resembling those of less serious conditions such as abdominal pain. Staging laparotomy with frozen section remains the preferred approach.
